SHINE Humanity
SHINE Humanity is a 501c3 organization working to provide primary healthcare to under-served rural communities across Pakistan
For 13 years, SHINE Humanity has worked to turn the belief that healthcare is a right into meaningful care for communities across Pakistan.
Through clinics, medical camps, screenings, healthcare training and community support, more than 1.8 million lives have been impacted. Behind every number is a patient reached, a family supported and a community brought closer to care.
The work continues with the same belief at its heart: Sehat Sab Ka Haq Hai.

Last week, SHINE Humanity partnered with AIESEC in Pakistan’s local chapter of IBA for Medicathon 2026 in Jhampir, Thatta, to bring essential healthcare services closer to the local community.
Through the health camp, our team conducted medical screenings and consultations, provided medicines, and offered healthcare guidance. This also included a menstrual hygiene awareness session, creating space for important conversations around women’s health.
As a result, we were able to reach 583 patients in the local community.
We are grateful to be part of meaningful work that helps make healthcare more accessible where it is needed most!

The recent attack on Dr. Mahnoor Nasir in Quetta is a reminder that women in healthcare continue to face risks while serving others.
At SHINE Humanity, our female doctors and healthcare workers help bring care closer to underserved communities every day.
Their work is essential. Their safety must be too.
SHINE Humanity Pakistan turns 13!
To celebrate, we asked our Head Office team what they enjoy most about working at SHINE. Here’s what just a few of them had to say.
For 13 years, SHINE has worked to bring healthcare closer to communities that are often left without access.

In rural communities, skin concerns often go untreated because timely medical care is not always within reach.
To help address this gap, SHINE Humanity conducted a free Skin Screening Camp at our Packages Clinic in Chilya, where patients were guided through registration on our EMPR system, vitals checking, doctor consultation, and pharmacy support.
Through this camp, 293 community members received free screening, medical guidance, and prescribed medicines, bringing essential care closer to home.

Today, we remember Dr Naseem Salahuddin, a pioneer in infectious diseases in Pakistan.
At SHINE Humanity, her legacy is deeply personal. She was instrumental in establishing our rabies program at the SHINE–Garibsons Clinic in Gharo, Thatta, where she assisted in training our staff and ensuring timely care for patients in rural communities.
Her work continues through every patient reached, every life protected and every healthcare worker equipped to respond with care.
May her legacy continue to guide public health in Pakistan.

Our patient, Farzana Noor, first came to SHINE’s Gharo clinic at risk of acute malnutrition, with a MUAC of 11.8 cm and a weight of 6.7 kg.
Through SHINE’s Malnutrition Program, her caregiver received guidance on feeding practices, meal frequency, affordable nutritious foods, and hygiene at home. With regular follow-ups and consistent support, Farzana began showing steady progress.
Over the course of 5 visits, her MUAC increased to 13 cm and her weight reached 7.3 kg.
Farzana’s journey is a reminder that timely care, caregiver involvement, and close follow-up can make a meaningful difference in a child’s health.
