Elevate AAPI at IVC

Peer Mentor Spotlight: Grace Pham was an ELEVATE Peer Mentor in the 2025-2026 academic year. Her favorite part of being in ELEVATE was being able to bond with her peers in the program, and the faculty supporting our community. Being part of the ELEVATE community helped develop her sense of belonging as an Asian-American. Now Grace wants to reciprocate the support she has received from the community, as she intends to engage in future research in relation to the AANAPI community. Grace is transferring to UC Davis in the Fall of 2026 as a Psychology major. Congratulations Grace! We wish you the best at UC Davis.

Join us at IVC on Saturday June 13th as ELEVATE is helping to host the only Philippine Independence Day Celebration in Orange County. The event is free and will be in Live Oak Terrace from 9am - 5pm. All are welcome to attend. We hope to see you there!

Welcome back students! If you need; a place to study, any snacks, school supplies, class materials to print out, or to meet with a counselor stop by the CAANAPI (B354). The Center will be open Monday - Thursday from 10am - 5pm throughout the summer (counselors are available Tuesdays & Thursdays 10am-3pm).

Tonight as you crossed that stage, turned your tassels, and closed the IVC chapter in your academic journeys we look forward to seeing where your next adventure takes you.
