What does it mean to be a man?
In a culture obsessed with masculinity—from UFC fights and combat sports to podcasts, politics, self-improvement, and the manosphere—the conversation about manhood has never been louder. Everyone seems to have an opinion about what makes a man strong, successful, respected, or influential.
But what does God say?
In this Father's Day message, Pastor Bogdan Kipko opens 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 and explores one of the most direct commands in the New Testament:
"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love."
The Apostle Paul doesn't merely tell men to "act like men"—he defines what biblical masculinity actually looks like.
In this sermon, you'll discover:
✅ Why the opposite of biblical masculinity is not weakness, but passivity
✅ Why real men accept responsibility instead of avoiding it
✅ What it means to stand firm in truth in a culture of compromise
✅ How Jesus Christ redefines strength through sacrificial love
✅ Why the greatest need in America is not stronger men, but redeemed men
While culture often measures masculinity by power, influence, status, money, or physical strength, Scripture points us to a very different model—the God-Man Jesus Christ.
Jesus carried responsibility.
Jesus stood for truth.
Jesus sacrificed Himself in love.
And according to the Bible, that's what it truly means to act like men.
Big Idea:
Biblical masculinity is not measured by how much power a man possesses, but by how much of Christ's character he displays.

What does baptism really mean?
Is it simply a religious tradition? A public ceremony? Or is there something much deeper taking place?
In this Baptism Sunday message from Historic Pirate's Cove in Newport Beach, we explore one of the most powerful themes running throughout the entire Bible: God brings people from death to life.
From Noah and the flood, to Israel crossing the Red Sea, to the Jordan River, Scripture repeatedly shows God leading His people through the waters into a new future. Baptism is not merely about getting wet—it is a picture of leaving the old life behind and stepping into the new life that Jesus Christ offers.
In this sermon, you'll discover:
• Why Jesus died and rose again to save sinners
• What repentance really means
• Why baptism is a public declaration of faith
• How Christ gives new life to everyone who believes
• Why following Jesus changes everything
The greatest problem in our lives is not our finances, relationships, health, or circumstances. Our greatest problem is sin. And our greatest need is forgiveness. The good news of the Gospel is that Jesus Christ came to save sinners, and He is still changing lives today.

Hello church, we are very excited about Sunday Beach Baptisms.
Attached in this image is all the info you need about this Sunday.
Plan on arriving between 930am and 945am to find parking and give yourself plenty of time to find where we will have the service.
We will all meet first next to the parking lot at the spot where we will have the service, and we will then walk over together over the cliff and down the stairs to the pirate’s cove where the baptism will take place.
After baptisms, we will walk back to where we will have service with worship, preaching, communion and a lunch for everyone afterwards.
We will provide canopies for shade but as far as chairs go, please bring your own folding chairs you would typically bring when you go to the beach with your family.
Bring with you, whatever it is you typically bring when you go to the beach.
Let's keep those in prayer who are being baptized!
In a world filled with conspiracy theories, conflicting opinions, endless information, and uncertainty, is there anything we can truly trust?
In this message from John 19:31–42 (ESV), Pastor Bogdan Kipko explores why the gospel of Jesus Christ is not wishful thinking, but a certainty worth building your life on. Through the eyewitness testimony of the Apostle John, the fulfillment of ancient prophecy, and the courageous faith of Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus, we discover that Christianity is rooted in historical reality, not speculation.
This sermon answers three important questions:
✅ Did Jesus really die?
✅ Can the Bible really be trusted?
✅ Does the gospel still transform lives today?
You'll learn about:
The significance of the Shroud of Turin
Why Roman soldiers confirmed Jesus' death
How Jesus fulfilled Old Testament prophecy
Why false promises always disappoint
What it means to have "one hope" in Christ
The courage of Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus
Why secret disciples eventually step into the light
If you're tired of uncertainty, exhausted by chasing success, or looking for something solid enough to build your life upon, this message is for you.
Key Takeaway
The gospel isn't wishful thinking—it's a certainty worth building your life on.

In John 19:16–30, we arrive at the climax of the Gospel of John and the most important moment in human history. Jesus carries His own cross, is crucified outside the city, cares for His mother while hanging in agony, drinks the sour wine of humanity's curse, and finally declares: "It is finished."
But what exactly was finished?
In this message, Pastor Bogdan Kipko walks verse-by-verse through the crucifixion of Christ and reveals how every detail points to God's plan of redemption. Discover the significance of Golgotha, the inscription above the cross written in three languages, the seamless robe, the two thieves, the sour wine, the hyssop branch, and the powerful meaning behind Jesus' final cry: Tetelestai — Paid in Full.
You'll also see how John 19 reverses the story of Genesis 3:
Adam brought the curse through a tree.
Jesus bore the curse on a tree.
Adam brought death.
Jesus conquered death.
Adam left humanity unfinished.
Jesus finished the work.
The good news of the gospel is not that Jesus made salvation possible. The good news is that Jesus accomplished it completely.
Key Takeaway:
Jesus carried your burden, paid your debt, and secured your future.
