Purpose Looks Different in Different Seasons
What purpose looks like right now
may not look like what it was a year ago.
Or what it will be a year from now.
Different seasons require different things:
Focus. Rest. Building. Giving. Recalibrating.
Comparison—especially to a past version of yourself—can distract you from what this season is asking.
This Week’s Practice:
Ask:
“What is this season requiring of me?”
Focus there.

Purpose Requires Letting Go
Sometimes purpose isn’t about what you add.
It’s about what you release.
Opportunities.
Obligations.
Expectations.
Holding onto everything leads to dilution.
Letting go creates clarity.
Purpose becomes sharper when your focus becomes narrower.
This Week’s Practice:
Identify one thing you’re currently holding onto that may not align anymore.
Consider what it would look like to release it.

Learning Generosity Before I Had a Word for It
Some of my earliest lessons about philanthropy didn’t come from a classroom, a foundation, or a boardroom. They came from my grandparents, Clarence and Rose Marx. Read more of Cara’s story here: https://successwithpurpose.org/stories/cara-stewarts-story/
