We love seeing our houses “grow up” - while this Provençal farmhouse remains nearly identical to when it was built 20 years ago, the landscape has evolved and flourished over time.

As the year winds down, we’re taking a moment to reflect… building a custom home is truly a team endeavor and we’re so grateful for all the clients and collaborators we’ve had the privilege to work with. Looking forward to 2023!

As seen in the summer edition of , our residence was a special project for us. As the 1920s childhood home of our long-time client, re-designing it took great care, but also required slick contemporary detailing to showcase their great collection of art. Works by and Tara Donovan are grouped with vintage Milo Baughman chairs, our Jewel table and a custom rug from .

California Room: an indoor-outdoor living space taken to the next level. The longer answer: one part room, one part porch, a relative of the sunroom, but with a big, refreshing dose of open air, the California room is the latest trend heating up the design world. Perched above the highly coveted community of Crystal Cove, this recently completed dream home is the epitome of luxury and exclusivity. Mediterranean modern or custom Tuscan — it’s whatever your heart desires. But desirable it is nevertheless, with multiple outdoor seating areas, a large backyard with pool, and spectacular trail and ocean views.

In the past, kitchens were considered workspaces, to be tucked away in the corner and out of sight. Thankfully times have changed because this kitchen was designed to be seen! Connecting the dining/living room to the family room, it anchors the gathering spaces and is the heart of the home.
