I made a new body, but my husband doesn’t like it. A new body is on its way soon.

‘Well Suited’ presents two impeccably dressed figures whose limbs have abandoned professionalism entirely, unraveling into soft knots of desire, anxiety, and office politics. It’s a portrait of modern adulthood: polished jackets up top, complete entanglement below.

Enjoy refreshments and experience a fast-paced and in-depth artwork critique of 7 juried artworks at this FREE event! Art lovers and artists curious about the process of a professional critique are encouraged to attend the session for free as observers. The critique will be followed by a moderated audience Q&A session. Audience members will learn just as much from the feedback given by the professional jurors as those who were selected for the critique. Note: Registering for this event is not the same as submitting your artwork for consideration to be critiqued. Submissions to be one of the 10 featured artists are closed.

Jurors Danielle Deery, independent curator, Patric Stillman, owner and curator of The Studio Door, and Christopher Padilla, instructor at The Atheneum selected the works from submissions and will also run the in-person session. Featured artists: Mieko Anekawa, Marianna Baker, Danni Bao, Lucy Boyd-Wilson, Neil Brooks, Theo DeHart, and Birdy Harrison.
