In his role, he oversees our commercial banking teams, helping to deepen client relationships and drive strategic growth.

David brings more than 35 years of middle-market banking experience and a successful track record of building corporate client coverage teams across key industries, including Financial Services, Healthcare, Technology, and Entertainment. Most recently, he served as a Managing Director leading West Coast expansion for an out-of-footprint bank, driving strategic growth initiatives across the region.

We’re excited to share that FirstSun Capital Bancorp announced today that it has completed its merger with First Foundation Inc., and its two wholly owned operating subsidiaries, First Foundation Advisors and First Foundation Bank, in an all-stock transaction. Also on April 1, 2026, First Foundation Bank merged with and into Sunflower Bank, with Sunflower Bank continuing as the surviving bank.
