November is Diabetes Awareness Month! 💙

Diabetes is one of the most prevalent health issues in the world. To minimize the affects of this chronic disease, make sure to keep up to date with checkups & maintain a healthy diet.

Looking for relaxation after midterms? Come to our Painting Night tomorrow at Rowland Hall 188 from 5-6pm! Painting materials are provided and come have a chill and relaxing session with our members!

Looking for a quick snack on your way to classes? Come get spam musubis! We will be located by Student Terrace 2 and if you missed out on our first sticker sale, we will be selling stickers from 10am to 11am!

October is National Liver Awareness Month! 💚

Autoimmune Hepatitis is one of the chronic diseases associated with the inflammation of the liver. It’s when one’s immune system attacks a healthy liver and causes liver damage/inflammation.

Educating yourself about chronic diseases is extremely important in the world we live in today. Make sure to especially share resources about liver related conditions with those around you this month!

September marks Sickle Cell Disease Awareness Month! Let's run down what this is and how it can affect your body. Sickle cell disease alters the shape of red blood cells that can lead to blood flow slowing, or even stopping, which can have disastrous consequences on the body. If you or someone you know has sickle cell disease, do your best to educate yourself and others to spread awareness for this blood disorder!

Welcome to Week 1 Anteaters! Our general meeting will start on Monday, 5pm-6pm at Rowland Hall 188! Come out to our first meeting to learn more about our organization and potential leadership positions you may be interested in! We look forward to seeing you there!

We are a club at UCI dedicated to the prevention, recognition, and management of chronic conditions through educational workshops, volunteer events, and weekly articles.

We collaborate with many organizations at UCI & Orange County to better promote health and well-being in these communities. 👨‍👩‍👧

- Our club targets a health disparity of language barriers through translated health articles (Chinese, Korean, and Spanish).
