Fun Fact: Many people don’t know the origin of St. Patrick’s Day.
This holiday is held in remembrance of the patron saint of Ireland, named St. Patrick. He was a missionary who is credited for bringing Christianity to Ireland. He used the shamrock to describe the Holy Trinity!

Kwanzaa is celebrated from Dec 26-Jan 1st each year. Each day a candle is lit to symbolize principles that are important to the African culture. On day one, the black candle is lit to represent unity. Today marks day two, and a candle will be lit for self-determination!
