Walk for Peace

Venerable Buddhist Monks, led by Bhikkhu Pannakara began their 2,300 mile pilgrimage from the Huong Dao Vipassana Bhavana Center in Fort Worth, TX on October 26, 2025 and are expected to reach Washington, D.C. by February 12, 2026.

Pannakara has said, "We walk not to protest, but to awaken the peace that already lives within each of us."

"The Walk for Peace is a simple yet meaningful reminder that unity and kindness begin within each of us and can radiate outward to families, communities, and society as a whole."

When you're hired to photograph an event that has a familiar ring to it, but you just can't put your finger on it. 🤔😉
