We have a good friend of SIC, Brian Cowsert, taking needed provisions and supplies to Western North Carolina to help those in dire need after the hurricane damage. We would like to invite everyone who would like to help to consider bringing any of the items below to our Irmo office at 1061 Bickley Road, Irmo, SC before Monday afternoon (10/14). He will be heading to NC on Tuesday so we would like to have all supplies in the office before Monday afternoon. This is a great way to help those who have been devastated by the storm and the aftermath it left behind and know that your donations will make it to those in need.

Underwear & Socks - new in packages
Personal hygiene items - soaps, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, etc.

With the weather turning cold soon, they also need:
Coats - these may be used
Blankets
Sweatshirts

Anything will help and will be so appreciated! Our office will be open from 8:00 - 4:30 Thursday, Friday and Monday. We are growing! Southeastern Insurance Consultants is looking to add an additional Bookkeeper to our staff.

We have an immediate opening for an in-house Bookkeeper in our Irmo, SC office. The duties would include creating and tracking invoices and payments, review and entry of carrier commissions, assisting with financial reports, helping manage day-to-day financial transactions and administrative support.

Qualifications should include excellent data entry skills, an eye for detail, ability to meet deadlines, clear and open communication skills and ability to prioritize. Knowledge of QuickBooks and the commercial and/or personal lines insurance market(s) a plus. McKenzie has over 20 years experience in the insurance industry most recently with EVHC as their VP of Business Development. Prior to that McKenzie spent 16 years with BCBS of South Carolina as a Regional Large Group Sales Rep.
McKenzie is a graduate of Clemson University and lives in Charleston with his wife and two daughters.
