Every question expanded;
while answers demanded.

cements grief that soothes.

The Great Love has no beginning, ending point;
It surrounds a self: muscles to joints.
I pray It orbits while allowing free will;
Keeping me in Its’ circumference, still.
Strong and elastic It expands unscathed;

Breakthrough

In 2008 Barack Obama’s nomination for President of the United States spider web cracked that thick glass ceiling then in November that year he broke through a hole barely large enough to accept the change it was witnessing.
He, for eight years, has navigated a floor that resembles a thawing frozen lake. His steps had to be measured and his navigation keen to ensure he remained above the murky waters below. He is now near the other side leaving numerous great accomplishments to be judged for his legacy. Well done Mr. President!
