One Book Two Book

We are having fun at the Chauncey as One Book Two Book continues. Join us for activities, storytimes, an amphibian open house and one more appearance by Clifford and Frog & Toad at 2 pm.

Today is the day! Join us for a day of fun, family friendly activities, including author readings, amphibians, workshops, a visit from Frog & Toad, a book fair, toy trains, and much more. It’s free, from 10 am to 3 pm at the Chauncey (FilmScene) and MERGE!

One Book Two Book Festival celebrates children's literature The annual event returns this month to Iowa City to celebrate children's literature and writing.

Volunteer to help out with this year's festival!

Iowa City UNESCO City of Literature has an amazing tradition of uplifting the talented young writers in our community through the One Book Two Book festival, showcasing thoughtfully written, creative pieces from students in grades 1-8.

Encourage and show support to these growing writers by sharing your time through volunteering!

What a wonderful weekend for One Book Two Book! The weather was great, the new location at the Chauncey was fantastic, and the activities, stories, book characters, short films, author presentations, songs and books (so many books!) kept everyone very busy. Thanks to everyone who came out, and to our vendors, partners and volunteers for making it a Saturday to remember.
