River, who joined the 2lh club this week says "we really NEED YOUR HELP"! We are unloading food tomorrow morning between 10 and 11AM. If anyone can come help it would be greatly appreciated. The unload site is 218 Benton St.

Shout out to the Iowa Humane Alliance for all their hard work each year! Every year they load up a van and call all their wonderful volunteers and come down to do a vaccination clinic for Holiday Lodge and Golfview Mobile Home Court residents. Johnson County Humane Society has joined them for the last 3 years and we are so thankful to be invited so that we can sign up residents for subsidized spay and neuter!!!
This year we were joined by Paws at Play with Selena who is working hard on providing a community food pantry in Johnson County. We are proud of the work Selena is doing and wish her all the best in her ventures. ❤️
Last but not least, we want to thank JCHS Board President Tamara Su and Board Member At Large, Paige VanCleave for making it by to volunteer for this Love for Pets event! Thank you also to Petco for sponsoring this event each year!

One of Goosetown’s hardest goodbyes yet! Cole is off to Springfield Missouri! We will sure miss him but we are so proud of all that he is doing🩷
