☀️🏊 Summer means more time in the pool, lake, and ocean—but it can also mean a higher risk of swimmer's ear!

Swimmer's ear is an infection of the outer ear canal that can occur when water gets trapped in the ear, creating an environment where bacteria can grow. Symptoms may include ear pain, itching, redness, or drainage.

The good news? A few simple habits can help keep ears healthy all summer long:
💧 Dry ears after swimming or bathing
👂 Tilt your head to help water drain out
🏊 Consider earplugs or a swim cap during water activities
🚫 Avoid using cotton swabs inside the ear canal
