In 1 Samuel 10, we see Saul hiding among the baggage when God calls him to be king. In his sermon on Sunday, Pastor Mark reminded us that we too can hide from what God is calling us to. But the same God who calls us is the One who equips us. Let us step out in faith this week trusting the Lord and following after him faithfully.

Mark your calendars! On February 8th, a.k.a. Soup-er Sunday, we’re gathering around tables and serving our neighbors. Bring a nonperishable food item for our canned food drive and plan to stick around after church for our crockpot cook off! Enjoy all different soups and chilis and vote for your favorite! It's hard to believe 2026 is already here. Let's take a moment to review a bit of 2025 for our church. This year, we gathered, we served, and we were sent! Praise the Lord for all that He has done.

Joy to the world, the Lord has come! We celebrate Jesus today, the greatest gift of all. He entered our world bringing hope, peace, and new life for all. Merry Christmas from all of us at Parkview Church!
