‘Grand Repos’ translates roughly to ‘great rest’ in French — an appropriate name for a chair designed around serious comfort.

The Grand Repos pairs generous cushioning with a concealed reclining mechanism that moves from upright to deeply relaxed while maintaining support. The result is a lounge chair that feels as luxurious as it looks: elegant, exceptionally comfortable, and beautifully made down to the smallest detail.

Another Grand Repos, happily settled into its new home. Another customer very comfortably settled in, too.

Designed by Antonio Citterio for Vitra. Great rest, indeed.

Feeling energized by the great conversations and company at the IC Home Show alongside Tim and crew at Egli Landscapes.

We love partnering with designers who value quality craftsmanship and share our belief that thoughtfully designed exterior spaces, paired with built-to-last furnishings, are rooted in the same principle: do it once, do it right, and enjoy it for life.

Your home doesn’t stop at the back door.

This weekend at the Iowa City Home Show, Design Ranch and .landscapes are teaming up to show how interiors and landscapes work better when they’re designed together.

If you’re planning updates this year, start with a smarter conversation.
