Cuppa More Pages

This week, Cuppa More Pages had the honor of being a small part of some really big things! A few very generous and big hearted people sponsored several teacher appreciation orders and school celebrations across the district. Here's how it all came together:

🏫 Monday — Hilltop: 71 drinks delivered
🏫 Tuesday — Middle School: 60 drinks delivered
🏫 Wednesday — High School: 50 drinks delivered
🥪 Wednesday — Tridistrict CAPS Program: 16 sandwich meals prepped for pick up
🏫 Friday — Discovery Charter: 15 drinks delivered

That's 196 drinks and 16 sandwich meals this week. I am so incredibly humbled by the trust each of these sponsors placed in our little shop to be part of their celebrations for their people. This doesn't include the previous school orders to Pine Bend, Holy Trinity Catholic School, and Salem Hills from previous weeks.

While I could use this opportunity to put the plug out there for contacting me for YOUR big order, I'd rather use this chance with your attention to shout out some amazing people: MY TEAM.

None of this happens without them. Every time I walked in with another big order, the response was usually: "Ok, how many are we doing?" No complaints. No hesitation. Some even came in on their days off to help. It was all smiles and determination to make every single order good and perfect, while then continuing to make customers and mobile orders that came in as usual. I can't thank them enough. This is the kind of positivity and community that I am trying to build here at Cuppa.

They are continuing that same hard work by stepping up all summer long to allow me some much needed time off here and there. So when you come in and see them, I hope they bring you as much joy as they bring me. And be sure to tell them they are doing a great job!

So this is how my day ended - Eleanor and her rock collection. My heart melts every time she comes in. They came at 5:35 and said “sorry we’re so late.” 🥹She loves creating lemonade and Italian soda flavors. She always yells from the door when she leaves: “Bye Cassie!” She will be 4 this month!

She let me pick my favorite rock to keep. 🤩

Some events just feel different. This is one of them.

This Saturday, June 6th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, we're welcoming two authors to Cuppa More Pages — and their stories are something else.

Kyleigh Torres just graduated high school with honors and has already done something remarkable: she wrote and published a novel. "Journal of Secrets" is her debut historical fiction, a story of faith, courage, and discovery.

Her mom, Brittany Torres, has written a story of a different kind. A homeschool teacher raising and educating all six of her kids alongside her husband, an Army Chaplain — Kyleigh being the oldest — Brittany's book "Pictures of My Heart" is a true account of brokenness, hope, and miraculous healing. The kind of story that reminds you what humans are capable of enduring — and becoming.

Both of them will be here, in person, ready to meet you. Books available for purchase and signing. Come for the coffee, stay for the conversation. ☕📚

It's almost time to begin our Summer Reading Program - but we need your help to spread the word!

How it works:
Whether your reader devours novels or just needs 10 quiet minutes with a magazine, our Book Reading Program is built around their goal — not ours. No required books, no minimums someone else set. Just reading, in whatever form works for them.

1) Pick up a reading log in the shop
2) Hit the goal they set for themselves
3) Bring back your log to claim a free cookie. 🍪 Every completed log is also an entry — for every 100 logs we receive, we'll be drawing one gift card winner!

We're also excited to be bringing our author visits back this summer — children's authors, advanced reader authors, and more — and we'd love to see those events packed with readers who are already in the middle of something great. ✨

Our program runs June 1–September 5. All ages, all backgrounds, everyone welcome. We'd love to cheer you and your little reader on this summer! ☕

☀️ Summer is on its way, and we're switching things up a little! ☀️

Starting June 7th through August 29th, you can find us Monday through Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00am to 3:00pm — and Thursdays we'll stick around a little longer, from 7:00am to 5:00pm. Save this so you know when to come get your cuppa!

We can't wait to see you this summer.
