Reminder…

Just a reminder that no one’s day is made worse by a text that says “thinking about you and wanted you to know.”

No one’s day is made worse by a hug.

No one’s day is made worse by a surprise coffee.

No one’s day is made worse by a kind gesture or an honest compliment.

And no one’s day is made worse by hearing “I love you, I miss you, or I am proud of you.”

No one’s day is made worse by being tagged in a sweet post on FB.

When they come to mind, LET THEM KNOW. So often it’s because they needed a little message of love sent their way and what an honor to be the one to deliver that message, right?
Seriously.

LET THEM KNOW.

Love,
Amy

🌾Love Hay Day? Help Keep the Tradition Alive!

The Inola Hay Day Festival has been bringing our community together for generations, and they are already looking ahead to making this year's celebration one of the best yet. But they can't do it without YOU!

They're looking for community members who would like to volunteer their time, talents, and ideas. Whether you can help with planning, fundraising, sponsorships, organizing events, decorating, or volunteering during the festival, there's a place for everyone.

You don't have to commit to doing everything—just lend a hand where you can. Every volunteer makes a difference, and many hands truly make lighter work.

If you've ever wanted to give back to our community or help preserve one of Inola's favorite traditions, they’d love to have you join!

📩 Send Inola Hay Day Association a Facebook message or comment below if you're interested in learning more about volunteer opportunities. Let's work together to make Hay Day bigger and better than ever!

Have a beautiful day!

My mom taught me something when I was little that I’ve never forgotten. She’d always say, “If you think something kind about someone… say it.”

I think the world would be a whole lot better if more people did. We have no problem telling people when they’re wrong. We leave bad reviews. We complain. We criticize. We roll our eyes. We gossip.

But telling the girl at Target, “Your shoes are so cute!” suddenly feels weird? Why? We all walk around in our own little bubbles wondering if we’re enough. Wondering if anyone notices how hard we’re trying. Wondering if we’re doing a good job.
Wondering if we matter.

So…Tell the girl you love her nails. Tell the girl at the drive through that she’s got pretty eyes. Tell your waitress she’s been amazing. Tell your friend she’s an amazing mom. Tell the cashier you appreciate how kind they were. Text your friends after dinner and thank them for making you laugh. Tell the mom with screaming kids that she’s doing better than she thinks. Tell your husband he’s handsome. Tell your wife she’s beautiful. Tell your coworker they crushed that presentation. Tell the barista that was the best latte you’ve had all week. Tell someone you admire them. Tell your people you love them.

Say. The. Thing.

Stop assuming people know. Stop keeping kind thoughts trapped in your head.

My mom taught me years ago that making people feel seen is one of the easiest gifts you’ll ever give, and one of the ones they’ll remember the longest. So be generous with your encouragement. Because trust me… there are enough people on the internet willing to tell someone they’re not enough. Be the person who reminds them they are.
