Mama Mary accompanied Jesus in the most painful events in the life of her son. She silently participated in the sufferings of Jesus. The greatest pain was at the foot of the cross where she experienced the sword pierced into her own heart and soul. The sword divided Mary’s soul. Mary is the Mother of Jesus but she will have to learn to be his disciple. Mary will also have to accept her son as her Lord. And all this is going to be heart- rending and painful.
Just like her Son, Mama Mary after succumbing to a lot of sufferings and pains, She was glorified by the Father in heaven. After the sorrows of Mary, She experienced also her joys. We too will have to undergo a lot of pains and sufferings, before we can experience God’s reward in heaven. As you accompanied your son Jesus in his sufferings, please accompany us in this horrific Pandemic. Amen!
