are in top form! It was amazing to see in person. Apparently they played my song in the locker room recently - I heard it was so loud that a whole press conference heard it too 🥳 So I had to come support and was not disappointed at all .
Also some seriousl legends showed up . of course ; and I got to Fox the scuba song !!

Did you know that I may never have written unwritten without the example of When my label were telling me that my song idea was not going to work commercially I remember saying to them; “but what about India Arie? ”. Then I found the courage to write something authentic because she was able to prove how much that resonates and the need for it in the mainstream. That first cd that I played on repeat as a teen with incredibly smooth low vocals and deep empowering messages is what helped me believe that people might welcome this kind of music just as I did.
This 25 years anniversary show was so beautiful . Thank you India Arie.

Im so grateful for the guides like India who led the way for me - including who walked in the next day and approached the same idea with a torrent of inspiration - totally up for writing the song with me.
