A family in Washington and their pet dog were startled and intrigued when they spotted a bald eagle peering in the glass door of their lakeside home recently. Stacy Goss captured footage of the eagle intently observing her pet dog Gnocchi, who looked a little nervous about the whole thing. “What the hell?” Stacy says. “Does it want to eat Gnocchi? Could she carry our dog away?” Stacy asks her husband, Jim, to which he replies, “Oh, hell yeah, she could!” Goss shared updates on Instagram, saying the eagle spent over day hanging around the exterior of her Shelton home before finally flying off. “Game and Wildlife came out. It’s NOT hurt, likely ate a deer (their words), which makes them basically unable to fly for 24-48 hours. It’s off to the side of our house on a log,” Goss wrote. “Great feeling and I’ll take it as a blessing. So will Gnocchi! Seems the Game and Wildlife agent knew what he was talking about,” Goss said after their visitor finally left.
