With beginnings in security, Evan worked his way through St. John and Medxcel, eventually landing in his Facilities Director role overseeing several hospitals and clinics in Oklahoma. His teammates admire his "customer first" mentality and deep understanding of technical operations. Evan's "hands on" approach in emergencies like serious weather events ensures a safe, healing environment for patients and staff.

🏆 MEDXCEL MOMENT OF THE MONTH: TODD L. 🏆

At Medxcel, we love to highlight examples of outstanding leadership. We recognize Todd L., Facilities Manager, for his commitment to advancing technical excellence at Ascension facilities.

Todd's coordination and management of the WARE Boiler 101 training program in Indiana gave 10 technicians a focused, hands-on education in steam system operations and maintenance. Participants gained a stronger foundational understanding of boiler systems, reinforcing safe practices, and improving system reliability and long-term performance of critical steam assets within their hospitals. By investing in the development of frontline staff and prioritizing operational excellence, Todd made a meaningful impact on facility performance and patient care.

We love to highlight examples of Medxcel's team members helping others in need - and sometimes, that may be a four-legged friend!

In the early hours of his shift at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola, Ron B., Powerplant Operator, heard unexpected sounds coming from the pit of a cooling tower under demolition. Upon further investigation, he found that a small, very frightened dog had fallen in and was unable to escape. Ron grabbed a ladder and quickly removed the animal, who was unhurt.

Care and concern for all creatures, human or animal, is an important aspect of the work done at the hospital. Thank you, Ron, for your heart and eagerness to serve others. 🐶🫶
