giving you guys another little sneak peak as to what I’ve been up to recently ! 🙈

after losing Keelo, I waited some weeks to make any announcements to insure all of my other animals who lived in close proximity to him were healthy.
After I was sure it was in fact an issue with Keelo himself, I chose to start my search in looking for another perfect boyfriend for Hallu(who is het for Mai Tai, Sable, & Toffebelly).
I was able to find a male Conda(who is also het for Mai Tai, Sable, & Toffebelly), & went ahead and got him so we didn’t miss out on the opportunity; as this pairing was my opportunity at hitting a triple recessive hognose.
With that being said; meet our newest boy, Kushe !
I am feeling incredibly grateful to have been able to find another perfect match to my girl, and although I miss all the character that came with Keelo, I’m hopeful that after a few more weeks of settling into his new home, this guy will come out of his shell as well !

since things have been so chaotic this past year, I haven’t been too active on updating my page.
however I realized, WE HIT 500 FOLLOWERS‼️🎉
just wanted to pop on and say thank you all v much for the support; even before the breeding journey has begun for me! I am beyond grateful for all the love & advice I’ve received thus far!

& since I never got around to sharing this w y’all; what better time than now ?
I never ended up dissembling the wine cooler shown on the left, to turn it into my incubator; so I decided to just pick up a new(already functional) incubator, when the opportunity presented itself!
to say I love it would be an understatement, this was all I needed to get my breeding journey started.

I would say rest in peace, but to be completely fair, there was not a single peaceful thing about Keelo. he made it his life mission to torment me up until the very end & succeeded daily.
heres to getting to know & love all the chaos this little menace brought to the table; I’m gonna miss my little bully endlessly 🪽
