Foster Success hears, empowers, and supports teens and young adults transitioning out of foster care.
Foster Success is committed to improving the foster care system and ensuring that teens and young adults transitioning out of foster care are educated, housed, financially stable, employed, and connected to a support system by age 26. Our team accomplishes this through program delivery, policy change, and partnership development in the areas of secondary & post-secondary education, workforce development, health & well-being, financial empowerment, housing stability, and youth engagement.

Making back to school note-worthy ✏️🎒
A huge thank you to students of , Forza Commercial Real Estate, Cork Medical, and Rehab Medical for supporting our young people as they begin their fall semester at school.
Together, they boxed over 700 boxes filled with snacks, fidgets, and an encouragement card to bring young people comfort and motivation for the school year. For young people with lived experience in foster care, receiving a care package reminds them that there's a community behind them saying "you got this!"
Thank you again for uplifting young people so they start the school year with confidence 😁

What an incredible two days at the Promising Practices Conference in Ohio! 💙✨
From filling the conference agenda with brilliant presentations from our own team to watching our youth speakers shine on stage, this event was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
Huge shoutout to Shontia, Shalise, Drew, Lauren, and Alana—you brought your authentic selves, spoke with strength, and reminded us all of what is possible when young people are given a safe space to grow, lead, and thrive.
As lunchtime keynote Lamar King shared through a quote by Urie Bronfenbrenner: “Every child needs at least one adult who is irrationally crazy about them.”
At Foster Success, every young person who walks through our doors or connects with our programs has an entire team of nearly 40 people who are unconditionally in their corner.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us, and helped make our first major event in Ohio such an unforgettable success. The future is bright! 🌟
TEAM SPOTLIGHT 💡🥳
Hannah Snyder is Foster Success’s Youth Engagement Program Coordinator.
Wanting to give back to the community that gave her so much, Hannah, a 21st -Century Scholar, worked in the 21st-Century Scholar Office at Marian University her entire undergraduate career. Most recently, she was selected as a graduate peer mentor for Foster Success’s Catalyst Summer Bridge Program. She also was an intern at Carmel Clay Schools working with their mental health coordinator and Volunteers of America, and Frest Start Recovery.
Hannah feels as the new Health & Financial Well-Being Program Coordinator, it will allow her the chance to empower and encourage young adults to fulfill their hopes and dreams and become a safe space when they may be in need of assistance.
Hannah is a graduate of Marian University, where she received a double major in Social Work (BSW) and Sociology. When Hannah is not making an impact, you can find her reading, volunteering, or playing a board game. She is one of 10 siblings, has a cat named Lulu, and played flute for seven years.

The Foster Success Basic Needs program was created to support Indiana teens and young adults transitioning out of foster care who are struggling with any basic needs including housing, utilities, transportation, childcare, and health care connections. We will help you navigate all the resources available to you.
