Choosing adoption is one of the hardest and most loving decisions a person can make, and it never means disappearing from your child’s life or your story. So many birth mothers carry the fear that once they make this choice, they’ll be forgotten or left out, but that isn’t how it has to be. You can still be part of the story you helped create, in whatever way feels right for you, whether that’s photos, letters, visits, or simply knowing your child is safe and loved.
There’s no one way to do this, and there’s no rush to decide anything today. Wherever you are in your thinking, even if you’re just starting to explore what your options look like, we’re here to listen without judgment and answer whatever questions you have.
You are never alone in this, and you never stop mattering to the story.
If you’d like to talk something through, you can reach us anytime at 317-518-3032.

Welcoming a child with special needs into your family is a beautiful and life-changing journey, and it is one that takes deep, honest preparation.
Our goal is never to be negative or to question a family’s ability to parent. Instead, we want every family to have a clear, grounded understanding of the long-term road ahead. Parenting is a lifelong journey, and when a family welcomes a child into their home, that becomes a forever responsibility. Families need to make sure they have the right resources in place to care for their child, not just today, but for life.
At KidsFirst, we bring both the heart and the knowledge to walk beside you through every step of this journey. You don’t have to do it alone. ❤️

Every mom who calls us is already thinking about her child’s future.
That’s the first thing we notice: underneath every question, there’s love. A mother who just wants to know her child is going to be okay. We take that VERY seriously. That’s why she’s the one who chooses her child’s adoptive family, not us. She gets to look through profiles of families who’ve already been fully approved, ask them anything, meet them for coffee, and take her time until she feels sure. Because this decision belongs to her.
If you’re pregnant and thinking about your options, we’re here whenever you’re ready to talk, no pressure, no judgment. Call or text us any time at 317-518-3032, or just send us a DM.

More than 20 years ago, a mom worked with us and adopted two girls from Russia. Earlier this summer, one of those girls shared her engagement photos with us ❤️
There is nothing that warms our hearts more than opening a message and finding a life update, a new photo, or a milestone from one of the families we’ve had the honor of working with over the years. Every single one of you holds a permanent piece of our hearts, and we are endlessly thankful that our relationship doesn’t end when the adoption is finalized. It’s really just the beginning.

One of the most common questions we’ve received recently: What is happening with adoptions from Ukraine? 🇺🇦
Our founder, Inna, is originally from Urkaine. KidsFirst Adoption and our nonprofit, KidsFirst Foundation, have supported children and orphanages in Ukraine for decades.
However, due to the ongoing war, international adoptions in Ukraine are paused, with the exception of cases involving family members.
By Ukrainian law, a child must be recognized as an orphan or have legally had their parents’ rights terminated to be eligible for international adoption. Due to the instability caused by the ongoing war with Russia, this process is even more difficult during this time.
Please contact us with any questions, or to learn how you can support children in Ukraine at this time. 💛💙
