I was prepared to go coffee-less, but I’m really glad I didn’t have to! 5 Spice Latte is the best latte in the 🌎 and they used my travel cup. And, gang, every airport has stations now. There is NO EXCUSE to not bring your reusable bottle when traveling. Goodbye ! Be well and take good care.

Both sets of these greeting cards were at the same Target! The first ones are packaged in plastic film sleeves and are $4.99 each. The second simply in a display and priced at $3.99.

I discovered this when I found the first set, thought they were cute, and started to select a few. Then I had a moment 💡and decided not to buy them because of the packaging. As I was looking for cards with no packaging, I found the other display one aisle over! 🤦‍♀️

The moral of the story: MAKE DELIBERATE PRODUCT CHOICES BASED ON PACKAGING. SAY NO TO PLASTIC!

I got to give a presentation for Green Week at The National Bank of Indianapolis about two of my favorite topics: Reduce and Reuse. We talked about simple tips - like asking for no straw at restaurants, replacing paper towels with rags, and having no excuses for using reusable shopping bags, coffee mugs and water bottles. NBofI is really making an effort to be green, including a full scale recycling program through Republic and The Can Lady!

Mmmm...I just up-ed my breakfast game. Local oats, a splash of goat milk (that I milked!), an egg from our chickens, Lightlife Fakin' Bacon crumbles and some nutritional yeast. Savory oatmeal for the win!
