We are thankful to our community and many past and current Indianapolis Public Library staff members for joining us for the 125th Anniversary celebration of our Martindale-Brightwood Branch. It truly felt like a homecoming of warmth, history, and shared memories!

We had such a fabulous time this past Saturday at all of our Summer Reading program kickoff events! From toys and games to music and face painting, we're leaning into all ways we can play this summer. We'll continue to have events all summer long, and you can register for our all-ages Summer Reading program at your local branch or register online at indypl.org/srp!

Join us at Central Library on June 6, starting at 10 a.m. for TWO grand opening celebrations as we unveil exciting new spaces for kids and teens!

We’ll kick off the day with ribbon-cutting ceremonies, then keep the party going with crafts, refreshments, family activities, community partners, and more. Plus, it’s the perfect time to sign up for our Summer Reading Program (available for all ages!) and get your summer adventures started!
