~ Alice Cooper Creeped Out Neighbors With Fave Halloween Costume...He even added his own soundtrack. ~ 🎩🕷💀🎃

What does a man who is Halloween-ready onstage for the remainder of the year do when it comes time to actually celebrate Halloween? For Alice Cooper, he dons a mask just like many of us.

In a recent interview, Cooper revealed his favorite Halloween costume, and it didn't involve any of his own stage look. The legendary rocker reflected on a time when his kids were trick or treating and he decided to dress like one of the big screen horror figures of the day.

“The one time I took my kids out, it was when Halloween came out, so I had the full Michael Myers outfit on,” laughed Alice. “I’d stand there, and the kids would go up and get candy, and I had a tape recorder in my pocket that’s going… (John Carpenter’s Halloween theme)."

Cooper's commitment to portraying the character wasn't just passive though. He recalls, "The kids would leave ... and I would still stand there. And when the parents would look out the window, I’d still be standing there. And after a while they began to wonder, who was this guy, really?”

The original Halloween film was released in 1978, but thanks to a variety of sequels, reboots and the original film's legacy, the Michael Myers look for Halloween remains particularly effective for unnerving people.

Happy Birthday to Mikkey Dee! The drummer for Motörhead from 1992 until the band disbanded in December 2015, due to the death of founder and frontman Lemmy. Mikkey turns 61 today! Dee is currently the drummer for the German rock band Scorpions with whom he became a permanent band member in September 2016. Mikkey has worked with King Diamond, Don Dokken and Helloween. 🤘😎🎃

~ Original KISS lead guitarist Ace Frehley has died at the age of 74 after injuries suffered from a fall at home. ~

April 27, 1951 – October 16, 2025

Earlier this month, Frehley canceled his remaining 2025 tour dates, citing unspecified "ongoing medical issues" related to that accident. Earlier today it was reported that he had suffered a brain bleed and was on life support.

“We are completely devastated and heartbroken," reads a statement from his family. "In his last moments, we were fortunate enough to have been able to surround him with loving, caring, peaceful words, thoughts, prayers and intentions as he left this earth. We cherish all of his finest memories, his laughter, and celebrate his strengths and kindness that he bestowed upon others. The magnitude of his passing is of epic proportions, and beyond comprehension. Reflecting on all of his incredible life achievements, Ace’s memory will continue to live on forever!” 🤘🥲

⚠️ Long time listener and part-time station staffer Chris "H.C." Carver has passed. Chris started out as a listener and soon became a friend. We had thrown the thought around for a while about putting a "listener hosted" show on the air. Chris' show was to be the inaugural/prototype show. Chris picked some of his favorite songs (at the time Nov. 2022) but as things often happen in radio the project kept getting put on the backburner. Chris' show has never aired, but it will tonight with replays over the weekend. Join us in honoring a great father, friend and devout lover of music, Chris "H.C." Carver. 🤘
