There’s a reason we call these incredible kids our Heroes. They face battles no child should ever have to face, and somehow continue to show us what courage and strength truly look like.

Tonight, we are so excited to introduce Ava, our final ✨DREAM✨ bedroom makeover recipient of 2026!

We asked Ava’s mom to share how their journey with her cancer diagnosis began. Here is Ava’s story, in her mom’s own words:

“Ava was diagnosed with metastatic Ewings Sarcoma in January 2024 after fracturing the top of her femur in a basketball game. Within two weeks, she had her port placed preparing for 14 rounds of Frontline chemotherapy. In May 2024, she had a three hour surgery replacing 9 inches of her femur bone and her hip ball joint. She finished in November with 10 rounds of whole lung radiation and 5 sessions of radiation to her spine.
She relapsed to a lymph node in her hip in June of 2025 and had 5 day high dose constant drip chemotherapy along with 33 radiation sessions.
This summer, she relapsed again only to the lungs. She was able to get into a clinical trial in Cincinnati and has completed 4 weeks of the targeted therapy along with chemotherapy.
So far, the research study has been helping as the disease in her body is slowly decreasing.
It has been nearly 3 years and Ava has not complained one time about going to treatment or the hospital or getting poked or not being able to do things like “normal” kids do. Her mindset is like no other, and we are amazed by her strength and resilience every day. Ava is the epitome of quiet strength and has the most beautiful mind. She is our hero. 💛🎗️”

What an absolutely incredible weekend this was. A dream bedroom makeover is truly a large orchestra of moving pieces, and it only works because so many wonderful people are willing to show up, give, create, build, donate and celebrate alongside us. And we continue to challenge ourselves!

There’s nothing better than welcoming a family home to a freshly cleaned house after a makeover weekend!🧹🫧 I might be a bit jealous!

While we were busy transforming Noah’s bedroom, this wonderful crew stepped in and made sure the rest of the house was clean, fresh, and ready for Noah and his family to come home to. Thank you Chrissy Wilson, owner of Wilsons Got it Maid Cleaning, and Susan and Morgan for volunteering your precious weekend time for such a special cause!

🤔Ever wonder what happens to our families when we completely take over their house for a DREAM Bedroom Makeover? 😂

While our crew was busy transforming Noah’s room, Noah and his family were officially “booted out” for the weekend…and thanks to some pretty amazing people and businesses in our community, they got to make some great memories along the way.

The goal of a DREAM Bedroom Makeover weekend isn’t just to create an incredible new space, we want the entire family to feel loved, supported and spoiled a little, too. 💓 Every weekend experience is different, depending on how the tower is feeling, how the weather is going to be, and what they are in to.

And yes…Noah’s full bedroom reveal is still under wraps. 😉 Trust us, it’s coming 🔜! 🎗️
