This month’s Simon Says Expert Series session—Earlier detection, better outcomes: A conversation on prostate cancer—will be at 12 p.m. ET Tuesday, June 23. Submit your questions and register now: https://ow.ly/wtGy50ZcPsP.
Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers among men, but when found early, it is highly treatable. What are the signs? Who should be screened? And how can early detection make a difference?
In this Simon Says session, Clint Bahler, MD, a urologist and prostate cancer researcher, leads a conversation on prevention, screening, and early diagnosis. He’ll be joined by moderator Gene Wurth, a grateful patient, who brings a personal perspective to the discussion.
Together, they’ll share what every man should know about prostate health and what partners, family members, and caregivers can do to encourage screening and support early action. Whether you’re thinking about your own health or someone you love, this session offers practical insights during Men’s Health Month.

The program was established with leadership from Claire Walczak, PhD, and continues under the direction of Heather O’Hagan, PhD. Along with Richard Carpenter, PhD, these cancer center researchers are among the faculty mentors helping students conduct research that explores how cancer develops, progresses and responds to treatment.

Don't brush it off as "just a mole."
Skin cancer can show up as small changes—like a new spot, a sore that won't heal or a mole that looks different. Checking your skin regularly can help catch it early, when treatment is more effective.
Know your skin. If something changes, get it checked.
