Family owned and operated. WFS opened in December of '99 and has been creating lasting memories ever since. I was born and raised in Wanamaker.

My grandfather purchased the building that houses the flower shop (known as "The Fansler Building") in 1928. My grandfather raised his family here as well as my father. I have many fond memories of running through these halls with my siblings. The building has been in our family ever since. My mother was a floral designer. I was raised to appreciate the art of floral design. I was in 4-H as a chil

d and thanks to my mother and her rather magical green thumb, I won grand champion almost every year. She taught me many valuable tips and filled me with rich knowledge that I still use today and have passed down to my daughter. I am a certified floral designer, receiving my degree from Design Art Floral Academy. I've been in this business for 25 years. What separates me from other florists is that I have a genuine passion about my trade. I grew up by my mothers side working in the flower garden. Many of my childhood memories involve asters, snapdragons, lilies and roses. Even though my mother had her hands rather full with 7 children, she always made sure there was fresh flowers on our dinner table. Not a day goes by that I'm not excited about my next big event that I personally get to design. As a child, I always dreamed of owning my own flower shop filled with beautiful arrangements and glittery treasures. I decided in my late 20's to make it happen and vowed not to stop until I was exactly where I wanted to be. A suite in The Fansler Building just so happened to be available and that's when my childhood dream was put into motion. My family has been in this community since 1928. My 4 brothers and 2 sisters have always been an active part here. We all attended Franklin Township schools as well as my 2 children, Missy and James. Dedication, customer relationship, product knowledge, and Christian family values are what separates us from competitors.
