This flyer explains how different areas of the brain work together to support language processing, reading, comprehension, and communication. Each brain region is color-coded to make the processing pathway easier to understand.

The Occipital Lobe, shown in red, supports letter and word recognition and represents the first step of visually seeing information. The Parietal Lobe, shown in yellow, helps analyze words and connect sounds with symbols. The Temporal Lobe, shown in green, supports language comprehension and understanding the meaning of information. The Frontal Lobe, shown in blue, is associated with speech input and output and the ability to produce an appropriate response.

Together, these regions create a simple language-processing sequence:

SEE → ANALYZE → UNDERSTAND → RESPOND

This framework helps demonstrate how the brain receives information, processes it, determines meaning, and produces a response. It can also be used within Elite Innovations and EFE programming to help students understand and strengthen the different stages involved in language, reading, and communication.

The Elite Innovations Executive Function Enhancement (EFE) Program uses purposeful movement, cognitive challenges, and individualized skill development to strengthen how students process information, make decisions, and respond to everyday demands.

The EFE Program can benefit students who experience ADHD, anxiety, learning differences, executive-function challenges, or difficulties connected to an IEP or 504 Plan—but a diagnosis is not required.

This is more than academic support. We help students build confidence, independence, and skills that transfer into the classroom, athletics, and everyday life.

Green targets the Orbitofrontal Cortex (OFC), the area of the brain responsible for emotional regulation, decision-making, reward processing, and social interaction. Training with the green stimulus helps strengthen cognitive flexibility, improve focus under pressure, and enhance the brain's ability to make effective decisions.
