About Us

Rugged all started when my wife and I were on our date night. We had gone shopping around the mall [Yeah, I know... Real manly right? It was Valentine's Day- I had to let her shop] and then to dinner. We started dreaming of our future [as we always do] and all of a sudden it hit me- my future could be my present [just a little, well a lot, more manly]. Women have stores, malls, boutiques

, and outlets everywhere! A store for clothes, a store for shoes, a store for purses, even a store for underwear! I need a place where I can get manly things! I mean, let's be honest, we need things too. Why not have a place where you can go and not feel like you left your Man Card in the cash register along with all your money? A place for men to be men. Ladies, we know it's easy for you to shop, but we want you to feel comfortable in our stores too. That's why we are Women Approved. We got to have a place for us guys, but when it comes to birthdays and Christmas - now you know where to look! And you can walk out confident knowing your man will be happy with what you got him. When we think of Man, we know that each is uniquely and individually created. That's how we wanted to handle our products. We handcraft all of our own products from our oils to our combs to our belts. With any of our products you will see the Rugged touch. We aim to craft products that you, as the customer, can feel the drive and motivation that went into each piece. Our cosmetics are all 100% natural and designed to not only make you smell great but promote healthy skin and hair. Our accessories are handcrafted and designed with you in mind for comfortability, durability, and style. We aim to provide you with products for years to come, not just a one-time buy. We desire to build a lasting relationship with you and your family throughout the years to come. We want to create an atmosphere that is designed to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. To make you feel right at home. We want you to be apart of our Rugged family. So the time has come friends! We are selling Rugged. It’s been an incredible 11 years but I’m tired. I’ve grown it and done with it as much as I can do. It’s time for someone else that has more energy and a better mind than mine to take it to the next level. All remaining equipment, inventory, raws, recipes, media, creative/intellectual properties, etc will come with it. There are a few options and we are open to being creative.
1. Sell everything in one fell swoop.
2. Sell just the equipment off to someone that is growing and looking to expand.
3. Sell just the brand, intellectual properties,and its recipes.

Open to more options. We will work with the right person that wants to continue Rugged. We will set you up to be successful. I will remain committed to the brand in an advisory role for an extended time.

We are grateful for every single customer, community member and community leaders, friend, family member that poured into us and our dream. We could not have had this amazing ride without you. You are the lifeblood of this dream. God is moving us in another direction and we are excited for the future that could be with Rugged in the right hands.
