STATES OF METAL: INDIANA METAL! ...

Hails! G here. Just letting you know I am embarking on a new sonic journey as a guitarist in Veilcaste . We are almost finished writing an album of very heavy tunes and will be playing a few shows this spring.

Veilcaste Updates:

In March we are playing a trio of shows with and Lordship on 3/14-3/16, and we are also playing Fest on 4/19.

We are beyond stoked to let everyone know that as of October our dear friend Garrett O’Sha ( ex-Coffinworm) has replaced Brian on guitar. It has been an incredible creative experience, we have written a new record since going silent over the fall/winter, and we plan to record in late spring early summer.

Brian is focusing on his bands Idiot and Usurp Synapse. They are both bands we love and we wish them the very best.

See you in March, we’re excited to show you the new songs and rock out with you all!

Hails. Just wanna make sure you lot know about this new Indianapolis band ATAVISTIC DECAY. If you like our “music”, odds are good you will dig em (dig em right out of their graves HAHA!). Very heavy. Friends of ours and Carl actually recorded this, so you know it’s gonna sound massive. Highly recommended!

Demo MMXXIV, by Atavistic Decay 4 track album

Our debut album, When All Became None, is 12 years old this month. Released on April 5, 2010 on CD/Digital through Profound Lore Records and vinyl through Seventh Rule Recordings. We spent a week of December 2009 with Sanford Parker in Semaphore Studios, Chicago, during a snow storm making this record. The last songs written for the album were “Blood Born Doom” and “Sadistic Rites” which we demoed in our practice room a month before hitting the studio. Eternal gratitude to Chris Bruni, Scott & Cara Flaster, Sanford Parker, Collin Jordan, Bob Peele, and Josh Shrontz for their contributions/parts in seeing this beast unleashed.
