While making a stop in Kentucky on my way to Nashville for a long weekend, I unexpectedly bumped into a fellow IEDA member. What are the odds?

Moments like this remind me how connected Indiana's economic development community really is. Whether we're meeting at conferences, in our hometowns, or somewhere in between, the relationships built through IEDA make our association feel like a true community.

IEDA is a trusted organization for networking, policy, and promoting economic and community development best practices in our state. I'm glad to be on the IEDA’s board as a way to give back to the organization that has done so much to help my career and being my best in attracting new investment and high-paying jobs to Dearborn County.

➡️ What motivates or excites you to serve on the IEDA Board of Directors? I’ve been a member of IEDA for more than 20 years, and have always appreciated its mission and support for our industry, so being able to serve the association (at my advanced age) is a pleasure.

I was happy to attend the East Central Indiana LEDO monthly meeting in Hartford City today.

Thank you to the Blackford County Economic Development Corporation for hosting! It was encouraging to see how the region is working together as a unit to advance shared priorities and strengthen East Central Indiana.
