HIPPI Racing kicked off the 2018 season at Virginia International Raceway in the SCCA Majors Spring Sprints. Ray Rivard finished just missed 4th in both races and improved from last years result! You can see the in car from race 2 here!

2017 SCCA Runoffs E Production Jason Albright in the #77 1st Gen RX7 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway SCCA Runoffs

Jason Albright and Ray Rivard had great results in the SCCA Runoffs at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Both running in big fields, both had top 10 finishes for HIPPI Racing with Jason finishing 7th and Ray finishing 9th!

Runoffs Indy Formula F - 2017 - Watch in 360 with Chrome Ray Rivard in the SCCA Runoffs Formula F race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

HIPPI Racing's Jason Albright and Ray Rivard had very good days on the first day of qualifying for the SCCA Runoffs at Indianapolis Motor Speedway!

Jason qualified P10 in a 42 car field and Ray was P11 in a 40 car field. Both had heavy traffic in their sessions and will be looking to find even more speed today!

HIPPI Racing had a great race today! Ray finished seventh and battled with lead pack, posting the fourth fastest lap in Formula F!!!

After struggling through car issues Friday evening and Saturday morning that kept us out of Qual 2, we found the problem and fixed it in time for the race! Still finding speed but drive to P7 overall and in class in action packed race! Race 2 will go off at 9:55 am tomorrow!

Qualifying went better for Ray and lap times improved almost four seconds. Still more speed left - in the car and the driver so Zach is going to help with the setup tonight and we will be ready to go at it again tomorrow morning for Qual 2!

A hectic Sunday afternoon left little time for pictures... Jason Albright had a repeat performance of P2 in E Production. In changing weather, including rain in one corner, Jason chased the leader and built a big gap on P3. Great drive all weekend!

Ray started P5 and moved up to P3 in a very eventful race, but had a suspension failure with 6 laps left. 360 degree video of the race will be posted soon!

Overall, it was another great HIPPI weekend!

Today was an excellent day for HIPPI Racing! Jason finished 2nd in E Production and Ray finished 2nd in Formula F!!!

We go at it one more time tomorrow!!!
