We find new and accessible ways to connect artists to their communities. The events are designed to be new and refreshing.
Founded by Andrea Townsend, Anna Martinez, and Taryn Cassella, [space] uses its fine art background and experience in community outreach to find ways to link local Indianapolis artists to the communities they create in. All three founders received their BFA in Painting at the Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis. The Indianapolis art scene is always expanding, and [space] wants to be one of the main catalysts for that change.

VACANT showcased 48 local artists. It was a great success thanks to the artists, volunteers, sponsors, and media.
