Summer Clean Up Dumpster Update
Hello Residents,
We are pleased to see so many residents taking advantage of the community cleanup dumpster.
Each year, we participate in the Keep Indianapolis Beautiful dumpster program at no cost to our association. The program allows us to reserve only one dumpster at a time, and reservations must be made at the beginning of the year. To ensure all residents have an opportunity to benefit from this service, we have consistently communicated that the dumpster is intended for yard waste only.
Additionally, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful requires that dumpsters not be filled above the rim. This safety requirement ensures the dumpster can be transported without debris falling out during pickup.
Unfortunately, several residents have disposed of large quantities of fencing and what appears to be decking materials in the dumpster. As a result, the dumpster has filled much more quickly than anticipated and is now over capacity.
At this time, please do not place any additional items in the dumpster. We may need to remove some materials to ensure the dumpster can be safely collected.
Please also note that due to pool construction beginning this fall, we will not be offering a fall cleanup event this year.
If you have any questions or concerns, please email [email protected].
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Sincerely,
Jamie Clouse
President, CEHOA

CEHOA Summer News
President Notes:
I hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of summer!
Below are a few reminders and updates.
-Many residents are out walking their dogs. Please remember to keep your dog on a leash at all times (this is a city law) and to be respectful and clean up your dog's p**p.
-Bicycles and Motorized vehicles: There have been several safety concerns made regarding the kids riding on motorized vehicles. If your child rides on these, please discuss proper safety with them. Some have been observed cutting in front of cars while they are driving. We do not want an accident to occur. Also, residents please know we have a lot of children and pre-teens in the neighborhood. Please slow down when driving through the neighborhood and STOP at the STOP signs.
-Summertime brings mowing responsibilities. Please keep yards mowed on a frequent basis. This helps keep rodents away. If you are unable to take care of your yard, please reach out and we can provide contact information of lawncare providers. Additionally, if you would like to be added to our provider list, please email [email protected].
-Pool Access: Only those that are current with their special assessment and annual assessment dues will be allowed to utilize the pool. If you are not current or are not sure, please reach out to our Treasurer, Sarah Marz by emailing [email protected] or text her @ 317-468-5863.
-Pool Passes: Pool Passes are in process of being created. This is a process and takes time. Once we receive them from the third-party vendor, we will send out communication on pickup times. Please remember to not throw these pool passes away as we are trying to be mindful of saving money and reusing them in future years. Those that do not have pool passes, but are current on their dues, will be allowed to utilize the pool. If you have your pool passes from 2024, you may bring 2 passes to the clubhouse and get your 2026 stickers.
-Pool Renovation Construction will begin in late September early October and will continue through April of next year.
-We are hiring a Property Manager. If you or someone you know is interested in applying, please email your resume to [email protected]. You can find the job description on our website under the Important Documents Tab. www.castletonestates.com
-We are also in search of our next Pool Manager. Karen has been our Pool Manager for 14 years now and she is ready to enjoy her summers. The Board is still in process of revising the job description for this position. If you have interest, please email [email protected].
Below are our upcoming events, so please be sure to add them to your calendar.
Thank you all for being part of an awesome neighborhood!

Hello CEHOA Residents,
We’re excited to share that our playground project has reached another milestone! Over the past month, we successfully completed Phase 2 with the addition of new swings, further enhancing this space for our community.
When this project began, we introduced a donation initiative offering families who contributed $100 or more the opportunity to have their name recognized on a commemorative plaque. In response to continued interest, we are reopening the donation page to give more residents the chance to participate before the plaque is finalized.
If you would like to contribute $100 or more, your family’s name can be included on the plaque as a lasting acknowledgment of your support.
The donation page will remain open through May 31.
To make a contribution, please use the link below or scan the QR code:

If you have any questions, please contact Jamie Clouse at [email protected].
Thank you for your continued support in making our community a great place to live.
