In a head-to-head comparison, live agents were perceived to be better suited to perform 7 out of 10 critical customer service tasksβ€”far outperforming AI assistants when it comes to complex problem-solving and getting an issue resolved in one call."

AI chatbots are taking over customer service, but most of us would rather wait for a human Live agents are perceived as being better than bots at most customer service tasks, especially when frustrated consumers are looking for a little empathy.

"AI is taking our customer experience jobs"
AI customer service call issues I've personally heard this week:
- incoming caller says "sigh.... You're an AI, no thanks, not for me" and hangs up.
- incoming caller asks about scheduling an appointment, bot takes no information, schedules a random estimate appointment for October with no details. Just blank. (It's May.)
- Landed Customer inquired about his project start date. AI Bot asked no identifying information, and booked him an estimate appointment instead. With no info.
- Caller realizes it's an AI bot that answered "are you human? No you're not.. SPEAK TO AN AGENT".

All these mistakes requires more time on your human admin, or yourself. Cleaning up after AI isn't time saving. You're losing customer trust. Stop it. πŸ€¨πŸ™„πŸ˜
