Eastern Kentucky. A Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) representative will be speaking this weekend after the 4 p.m. Sunday Mass about Workfest, our alternative spring break program. Join us!

In a country with increasingly divided politics and partisan rancor, the Church's teaching on faithful participation in public life is often misunderstood or interpreted to justify interests at odds with the Church's vision. As we near Election Day in November, we will revisit the treasury of wisdom the Church offers Catholics to reengage with political life with an enduring sense of hope, discuss practical ways to resist political despair, and reflect on the evangelistic nature of bringing our faith into politics.
