The vision for our inaugural Open House was always about more than introducing our new East 10th Street home; It was our opportunity to say, "Come in. This space belongs to the community, too."
We wanted people to experience Arts for Learning Indiana in action—to see, hear, make, explore, connect, and understand firsthand the role creativity can play in bringing people together.
With over 250 people in attendance, Mayor Hogsett declaring June 27th "Arts for Learning Day," and the amazing support of our sponsors & community members—it's safe to say that our vision became a reality. A special thank you to our Presenting Sponsor Glick Philanthropies and our additional sponsors, Allen Whitehill Clowes Charitable Foundation, Audrey's Place New Furniture , John B***r Neighborhood Centers , 1000 Words Gallery and Robert Goodman Jewelers .
We're excited to see what we can build from here! Watch the full recap video on our YouTube!

🎉 Celebrating 5 Years of Visionary Leadership 🎉
We're celebrating an incredible milestone this month - Anya Aslanova's 5th anniversary as President & CEO of Arts for Learning Indiana!
When asked to reflect Anya shared, "Five years ago, I stepped into this role feeling hopeful, humbled, and excited for what might be possible. I could never have imagined how deeply Arts for Learning, and the extraordinary people who make this work possible, would become part of my heart. Every day, I am surrounded by passionate artists, educators, staff, partners, and community members who continue to teach me, inspire me, and remind me of the power of creativity and shared purpose. Leading an organization with a 65-year legacy of serving young people and our community is one of the greatest honors of my life. These five years have flown by, but they have been filled with more joy, growth, meaning, and unforgettable moments than I could ever put into words. I feel incredibly lucky to do work I love alongside people I admire, all working toward a vision we believe in together."
Please join us in congratulating Anya on five remarkable years and thank her for her heart, vision, and dedication to ensuring every child has access to the transformative power of the arts. Here's to the exciting journey ahead!
