May 2nd, First Saturday is a blind tasting event, offers attendees who are members of the Rural Inn VIB Bourbon Club the chance to win the right to purchase a highly sought-after Russell's Reserve 13 Year bourbon.
Starts at Noon.
Doors to the tasting area open at 11:30 AM.
Must be 21+ to attend.
Free entry 🎟️. Seating is limited, but we did take out the pool tables and add more tables and barstools. .

All participants will sample unidentified bottles.
All VIP members who correctly identify at least one of the blind bottles will face off in a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors.
The winner earns the right to buy a bottle of Russell's Reserve 13 Year, a limited-release barrel-proof bourbon.

We are honored to host Bob Pennington, a retired Special Forces Green Beret and one of the original "Horse Soldiers" who answered the call after 9/11. Bob was part of the elite ODA-595 team that fought on horseback in Afghanistan—the true story that inspired the movie 12 Strong.
What to expect:
Live Storytelling: Hear first-hand "War Stories" from Bob’s historic military career.
Whiskey Tasting: Sample the award-winning Horse Soldier Bourbon, founded by the veterans themselves.
Bottle Signing: Purchase a bottle and get it personally signed by Bob—a perfect addition to any bourbon collection.
