While balancing project work and leading his team, Jake completed a rigorous ASPE review course in preparation for the exam. For Jake, this was never just about adding a credential. As he put it:

"When I transitioned into a leadership position, I was stepping into a role in which my predecessor had a wealth of knowledge and industry experience. At a certain point, we had to do the work, gain that experience and credibility ourselves."

The future of education and healthcare is taking shape at Marian University Indianapolis.

We’re excited to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Klipsch Educators College and Center for Human Flourishing. In partnership with Shiel Sexton Company, this 96,000-square-foot addition will bring teacher education and health sciences together under one roof, creating new opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and learning.

Designed to support future healthcare professionals, educators, and community leaders, this transformational project will help advance research and strengthen Indiana’s workforce for years to come.
