Time flies when you are having fun ✈️.

This week, our LEADERS visited Jet Linx to get a firsthand look at what it is like to be a pilot. Today, we also welcomed our friends from OmniSource Indianapolis "The Best in Metals Recycling" , who treated us to a fantastic lunch. Check out some of the highlights from camp this week 📷.

At Mary Rigg Food Pantry, every grocery bag we fill helps strengthen a family in our community. We need your help collecting re-usable and plastic grocery bags. Every bag you donate makes a difference—even before the food goes inside. It’s a simple way to support both our community and the environment by recycling your unneeded bags.

It is estimated nearly 400,000 Hoosiers, including many immigrants, will lose Medicaid because of Senate Enrolled Act 1, passed by the General Assembly this year. Panelists at our latest Power Partner Conversation discussed how fear, federal policies, and economic instability are already affecting immigrant neighbors’ access to food and health care.

Organizations are encouraged to be safe spaces. Recommendations include: providing training to employees to be culturally aware and responsive and offering interpretation services.

Thank you again to Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center, Irvington Counseling Collective, HealthNet, Inc., Feeding Indiana's Hungry, and Covering Kids & Families of Indiana for joining us, and to MIBOR Realtor Association for their support of this series.

What is a great way to beat the summer heat? Water day and dilly bars!

We had an amazing time with Braden Business Systems during our Summer Camp Water Day. Volunteers supported our LEADERS annual car wash and made a splash with our Starfish campers.

We wrapped up the day with a special ice cream treat from Josh Hoover and Khobie Martin from the Indiana University football team. Check out some behind the scenes pics 📸.
