We're also excited to have some of our members volunteer as Yarn Doctors this year! What a cool opportunity to connect with other yarn loving people and share about the Indianapolis Knitting Guild. Who knows, we might just prescribe everyone "come to the next IKG meeting!"👩⚕️🐑
✨ Festival Feature: Yarn Doctor ✨
Got a project that’s misbehaving? 🧶 🩺 The Yarn Doctor is in! Whether it’s a dropped stitch, twisted cable, or a “what did I do three rows ago?” moment, our Yarn Doctors are here to help.
Bring your current project (or a well-loved one that needs a little TLC) and get expert guidance, quick fixes, or reassurance that you’re not alone — we’ve all been there.
Because sometimes the best part of a fiber festival is knowing help is just a few stitches away.
Extra thanks to Village Yarn Company, Oma Knits Textiles, and Always in Stitches and volunteers from the Indianapolis Knitting Guild for being our on-call team!

✨ Festival Feature: Yarn Winding Station ✨
Bought a skein and want it ready to cast on now? 🌀 Stop by the Yarn Winding Station!
Our volunteers from the Indianapolis Knitting Guild will help wind your new yarn into neat, center-pull cakes so you can spend less time prepping and more time knitting, crocheting, or admiring your haul.
It’s one of those little festival perks that makes a big difference — especially when your bag is already full of yarn.

This is the event that I forgot to put in the April newsletter.

Have you had the chance to RSVP for our April 12 meeting at 7pm yet? You'll get to make up to three pairs of earrings to take home!
For our April meeting, we've invited Jennifer Davies, with Bur Oak Studios, to help us make jewelry from vintage knitting needles. She'll be all set to help us make up to 3 pairs of earrings. Anna has loved this kind of jewelry for over a decade and she can't wait to make some herself.
Because Jen provides all the supplies, there will be a $15/person materials fee this month, and the guild will pick up the rest. There is a sign-up form again this month, so Jen can know how many people to expect. After you sign up, please also go to our PayPal page to pay your $15:
