Our June Sock of the Month honors St. Maria Goretti and the mercy that defines her legacy.
A young Italian saint known for her deep faith and extraordinary forgiveness, Maria Goretti forgave her attacker before her death at just 11 years old, a witness to mercy so powerful it helped lead him to repentance years later.
The soft blue background symbolizes innocence, heaven, and trust in God, while the lilies throughout the design represent purity and the lilies seen in her attacker’s dream after her forgiveness. The orange heel, toe, and welt reflect the fire of repentance, transformation, and the burning mercy that flows from forgiveness.
Along the bottom of the foot, the phrase “He loves. He hopes. He waits.” reminds us of God’s endless mercy for every soul.
The Trinity: one of the deepest mysteries of the faith... explained in a way that actually makes sense. 🤯
Fr. Christian Raab reminds us that sometimes the best way to understand the Trinity isn't by trying to unpack God's inner life, but by recognizing how we experience Him:

Some of the strongest testimonies of faith come in the middle of suffering. 🙏
The priest in this story didn’t pretend to have it all together. In the middle of his sin, weakness, and pain, he still clung to God and that’s what made his witness so powerful.
Faith isn’t about being perfect. It’s about trusting that even in our brokenness, God is still present… and still redeeming.
“God is here present to me.”
That line hits hard.
