We’re celebrating the recent groundbreaking for Wish Park and an important investment in Indianapolis’ northwest community. By providing access through quality greenspace and play, the park redesign and new playground create a welcoming space for a community long underserved. As landscape architects on the project, our team is proud to help transform the park into a place for connection, play, and access to nature. It was an honor to celebrate alongside Indy Parks staff, City leaders, community partners and the project team, and we look forward to seeing this space come to life.

Congratulations to Karina Kasmauskis on completing all her registration exams and becoming a licensed Professional Landscape Architect.

Our team, alongside the Town of Pendleton, was honored to receive a Merit Award in Landscape Architecture at the 2025 Monumental Awards for Falls Park Playground!

After a 2019 tornado caused major damage to Falls Park and the playground, the community came together to rebuild. The result is a 30,000-square-foot inclusive playground that reflects resilience, honors the past, and creates a welcoming space for generations to come.

The Monumental Awards program is presented by the Indy Chamber.

From vision to reality — the 9.6-mile Nickel Plate Trail is now open from 42nd Street at the State Fairgrounds and Monon Trail to 96th Street!
INDOT is completing a section of trail under I-465 that will open at a later date. Once finished, Indianapolis will be connected to Fishers and Noblesville like never before.
We’re honored to have collaborated with the City of Indianapolis, Department of Public Works, and the design and construction team to help bring this important multi-modal amenity to life.

The winner of the People’s Choice Award will be announced at the Monumental Awards, presented by Citizens Energy Group, on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

INASLA Merit Award (Design-Constructed Works over $2M)

Memorial Island at Columbian Park has transformed into a vibrant, multi-use space that blends beauty, history, and community connection. From lush gardens and a welcoming promenade to a performance amphitheater and powerful military memorials, every detail honors Lafayette’s past while inspiring new memories. Completed in phases, the project revitalized the historic lagoon—bringing back fishing, fountains, paddle boats, and a deep connection to the water.

INASLA Merit Award (Design-Constructed Works under $2M)

In the wake of a 2019 tornado, the Pendleton community united to rebuild Falls Park Playground—transforming loss into a vibrant, inclusive space for all. Inspired by the park’s wooded past, features like a towering treehouse, story walk, and the beloved “Little Library” celebrate nature and imagination. Today, the 30,000 sq. ft. playground stands as a joyful symbol of resilience, connection, and community spirit.
