So long WTHR-TV and my dear friends and co-workers. You folks made this place a joy. I got the accolades but none of this happens without all of you. God’s best to you my friends.
What a day!

I moved to Indiana May 15th, 1979. I was 21 years old. My wife and I set up our lives here, our three boys were born here and serving Hoosiers has been a joy all this time. Thank you Indiana and thank you Governor Mike Braun for this wonderful honor. I am so grateful.

On today, Indianapolis Colts VP Steve Campbell and Blue the Colts mascot presented me with a congratulatory jersey signed by owner Jim Irsay before he died last week. How moving.
