🌿 June is the time to let your garden thrive! Here are some gardening tips to keep in mind:

- Mulch your beds to lock in moisture and keep roots cool
- Water deeply (not just often) to encourage strong root growth
- Check for pests daily! Catching them early makes all the difference
- Stake/Support tall plants before they start leaning
- Fertilize regularly to keep summer blooms and veggies thriving
- Prune spring-flowering shrubs after they finish blooming

Tami Bailey – Group Manager

I’m the Group Manager at MPE, overseeing Indianapolis consumer shows across budgeting, staffing, sales, features, and operations. I began my career at MPE in sales 17 years ago, and it’s especially rewarding to see exhibitors I first worked with then still successfully showcasing their businesses today. I enjoy creating events that deliver value for both exhibitors and attendees. Outside of work, I’m married with two adult children and one senior dog. I enjoy playing pickleball, working on my golf game, reading, caring for indoor plants, and experimenting with sourdough baking.

Alexis Johnson – Exhibit Sales Consultant (J-Z)

I’m an Exhibit Sales Consultant for the Indianapolis Home Show and the Indiana Flower + Patio Show, where I help exhibitors secure their ideal booth spaces, prepare them for a successful show, and help setup our events on show site. My strengths include being organized, paying close attention to detail, and giving businesses a clear understanding of how our shows operate and how it will benefit their business. Outside of work, I like spending time outdoors, hiking, going to farmers markets, and paddleboarding during the summer.

Kathy Le – Show Coordinator

Hello! My name is Kathy Le and I’m a Show Coordinator with Marketplace Events where I help bring our shows to life by supporting our team, exhibitors, and partners every step of the way. I am customer and exhibitor-focused and prioritize creating a positive experience for both. Outside of work, I love baking, volunteering, exploring arts in various forms, traveling, creating memories for my loved ones, and discovering new experiences. I’m always excited to try something new and find inspiration wherever I can, whether that’s in the kitchen, on the road, or behind the scenes of a great event.

With a background in landscape architecture, I developed a strong sense of proportion, light, and material - an approach I now bring to stained glass, creating pieces that feel connected to their surroundings.
I spent over 45 years in landscaping, gaining patience, respect for process, and an understanding of how environments evolve. Today, with MPE, I serve as Landscape Coordinator for the Indianapolis market and beyond, sharing my passion for the industry with others.

30-year career with one company, adapting to evolving roles, responsibilities, and leadership. I enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and helping teams achieve shared goals. As Operations Manager, I lead planning and logistics, managing timelines, vendors, and on-site ex*****on to deliver seamless, high-quality events. Outside of work, I value time with my family and friends, and enjoy movies, reading, travel, and home design. I prioritize meaningful relationships, continuous learning, and bring a calm, thoughtful approach to work and life. Known for being dependable, flexible, and fostering a positive, supportive environment.

I am a dedicated Sales Manager at Marketplace Events, where I have built an impressive 12-year career. I began as an Exhibit Sales Consultant and, through consistent hard work and a passion for client success, advanced into my current leadership role. I take great pride in supporting my exhibitors, finding fulfillment in helping them grow their businesses and achieving meaningful results. Outside of work, I stay busy with my four children and their many activities. I value the time spent with family and friends, who I consider the foundation and support system that keeps me grounded.
